Break drums

Breaker drums are used to tighten up conveyor belts, so that the belt has a larger contact surface around drive drums. Can also be used in a separate tightening loop. This contributes to less slurping of the conveyor belt.

Breaker drums have different designs depending on the area of ​​use. Some variants:

  • Powerful steel drums for tightening belts
  • Ribbed drums with a cleansing effect, as the ribs hit the belt
  • Breaker drums with vulcanized rubber, for heavy loads from large operations
