Liwell flip-flow screen

Technology designed for efficient sifting of sticky, damp and abrasive material.

Flip Flow principle

Unique technology

LIWELL® strainers work on the “FLIP FLOW” principle. Elastic polyurethane mats are alternately tensioned and slackened.

The end result is effective sieving of sticky, moist and abrasive material at cuts as low as 2mm.

Avoid sprouting in screen cloth

In the final tensioning phase, the sieve mat is overstretched which causes the hole size to change. Overgrown material is released from the screen cloth and any plugging comes loose from the holes – even with difficult materials.

Acceleration forces of up to 50 G are achieved, while the aiming frame is only subjected to 2-3 G.

Flip-flow screen fabrics are slackened and tensioned around 600 times per minute. They will work for thousands of hours and have to transport many tons of rock, sand, coal, coke and other materials during their lifetime.

Therefore, a special type of polyurethane is used, which the supplier makes in different versions to provide optimal visibility for each customer.
